He started his career as an academic vascular cardiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, and as a professor of Medicine at Columbia University. He is passionate about providing medical care to the people in the community he grew up in. He is from a musical family and learned to play many instruments at a young age, including drums, guitar, and bass, as well as learning Flamenco Cajón and songwriting. Romulo is a talented voice actor, and the musical and artistic director for several English, Spanish, Portuguese television series. She was granted a music scholarship at 16 to pursue A-level studies at Marlborough College in Wiltshire, United Kingdom. She holds a B.A. in Modern Languages with a minor in Linguistics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a Professional Certificate in Translation for French into English from New York University.
